New England Hip-Hop Poster created by Isaac Remsen
$75.00 USD
This project came together when my passion for music and photography became intertwined. I began documenting concerts and musicians in 2010 during my time in Boston. During that time I was given many opportunities to create iconic images with not only some of the city's best artists, but numerous internationally known acts.
Over the past decade, I have been fortunate to work with and document some of the regions greatest artists from Maine to Connecticut. This design pays homage to many of those individuals that live their life as Artists, DJ's, Producers, Photographers, Video Directors, Security, Promoters and the many personalities that do great things for our community. This is just a fraction of the talent that has been influential to the culture.
I have decided to donate a percentage of the proceeds to The Hip-Hop Transformation,
The Hip Hop Transformation is a program for teens ages 14-18 offered by the Cambridge Community Center in partnership with the Cambridge Police Department. THHT teaches teens the history of hip hop, the role hip hop plays in society, and the skills needed to write, record, and perform original music.
At the end of the summer participants walk away with their own finished album to be distributed on Spotify and iTunes, and the skills and connections they need to pursue their passion.
THHT is a free program and is a part of the Mayor’s Summer Youth Employment Program.
